Faith

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. It is certain knowledge of what God's Word says will always be realized under all circumstances. Faith shows your inner attitude towards God.

Without faith you cannot step into personal communion with God and receive His blessings. Biblical faith is God's gift through which you become part of the righteousness of God.

Faith comes from hearing the Word of God preached with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This places the spirit of faith into the heart of the listener and that makes him able to believe in the revealed truth of God. The object of faith is realized by confession.

Apart from the general faith that results in salvation the Bible speaks about faith as a spiritual fruit that is the result of communion with the Lord.

Moreover, the Scriptures mention the gift of faith. It works when in a critical situation you exercise faith in the Word of God in a special way and God answers in a supernatural way.

Faith is also a spiritual weapon: a shield with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. You can increase your faith by listening to and confessing the Word of God, fasting and praying in tongues.
